SystemsMay–Oct 2026

PyTorch

Landed contributions

Contributed compact CUDA scratch buffers and batched DDP gradient copies, plus CPU/build fixes. Iteration included a transfer-path regression and a higher-order-gradient fallback.

Details & sources for PyTorch

Compact CUDA scratch buffers

The PR author’s mixed-tensor RTX 4090 benchmark reports temporary per-operation scratch memory dropping from 26.2 MB to 1.06 MB, about 96%. It is not total GPU memory or a training-speed result. Before human review, the first version regressed uniform inputs; I reworked the data-transfer path into one pinned, asynchronous copy. The PR discloses AI assistance.

Batched gradient copy-out

A 200-layer, 400-parameter, one-bucket test model went from 400 copy-out dispatches to one. Higher-order gradients retain an individual-copy fallback. The landed commit credits a maintainer co-author, and the PR discloses AI assistance. Dispatch counts alone do not prove faster training.

CPU matrix-multiplication correctness

Reworked a failing OpenMP-thread fix into separate computation and reduction work-sharing loops, with regression tests and maintainer review. It addresses correctness when fewer workers are available; no measured speedup is claimed.

Batch-normalization defaults

Replaced a fixed positional-argument assumption with signature binding and default application. The change was re-landed after review and regression iterations. The final landing excludes unrelated benchmark CSV changes from an AI-assisted rebase.

Autoresearch

Merged contribution

Changed the agent instructions to read the last 50 log lines when metrics are missing, exposing the traceback before the next repair attempt.

Details & sources for Autoresearch

The failure

The agent read metrics using grep. A crashed run could leave that output empty, so the agent did not see the Python traceback.

The change

One instruction tells the agent to tail the log when grep returns nothing. It is a small, merged instruction change; no benchmarked recovery-rate improvement is claimed.

What followed

This contribution led to Rushaan reaching out and the SafeCLI collaboration.

Agents & evalsJul–Aug 2026

Harbor / RewardKit

Merged & incorporated contributions

Contributed evaluator-reliability fixes: rejecting ambiguous judge criteria and restoring root-level judge discovery in nested layouts.

Details & sources for Harbor / RewardKit

Duplicate criteria

My initial guard addressed prompt/schema construction. The maintainer moved validation into Reward construction, before model calls. The merged work and regression-test commits credit AI assistance and maintainer contributions.

Root-level judge discovery

My PR #2334 was closed unmerged. Its discovery fix was explicitly incorporated into the maintainer’s broader merged update #2821. I do not claim the broader recursive-group or viewer implementation.

Automation / SecurityMar 2026

Google Workspace CLI

Merged contributions

Contributed Rust reliability and security improvements: token-storage errors, private atomic file writes and Meet conference creation.

Details & sources for Google Workspace CLI

Visible failures and safer writes

Token-directory and permission failures now propagate instead of appearing to succeed. Secret-bearing temporary files are created privately and exclusively, then atomically persisted. Review iteration included Gemini Code Assist feedback.

Stable conference request IDs

The Meet helper derives a stable request ID from event details and sorts attendees. This concerns conference creation; it does not establish idempotency for the whole Calendar event insertion.

Project status

The repository says this CLI is not an officially supported Google product. A contribution to it is not employment at Google.

LangGraph & LangChain

Merged contributions

Contributed agent-runtime and provider-compatibility fixes, covering parameterized ToolRuntime injection, model-name parsing and structured-output request handling.

Details & sources for LangGraph & LangChain

Parameterized tool runtime

Checking a parameterized type’s generic origin lets ToolNode inject runtime context instead of treating it as a model-supplied argument. The merged work includes an async regression test and maintainer co-author credit.

Provider-boundary fixes

Separate changes strip inferred Mistral provider aliases from model names, pass additional structured-output kwargs through to Groq model binding, and remove an unsupported strict argument for Ollama. The Ollama PR discloses AI-assisted regression-test generation.

Prime Intellect verifiers

Merged contribution

Made Responses usage parsing tolerate omitted optional token-detail fields from compatible providers.

Details & sources for Prime Intellect verifiers

Compatibility without invented values

Local parsing models allow missing cache/reasoning detail fields and provider-specific extras. A missing detail stays unknown rather than being invented as zero; present known fields retain their declared types.

Evidence boundary

The PR reports running existing Responses-client tests and adds no new test. The merged commit credits AI assistance. This is a parsing-compatibility contribution, not a claim about provider quality.

NVIDIA NemoClaw

Merged & credited contributions

Contributed permission hardening for auth profiles, deployment secrets and migrated configuration, plus dashboard-readiness checks. Separate shell-injection analysis informed a maintainer-led rewrite.

Details & sources for NVIDIA NemoClaw

Permissions and review

My merged fixes hardened private file permissions in deployment, startup and migration paths. Auth-profile review caught missing-key and symlink cases; I revised the contribution, and the maintainer completed rebase and mainline handling. This is targeted hardening, not a guarantee that credentials cannot leak.

Readiness checks

The dashboard change uses bounded polling and warns if readiness takes too long. It does not turn the entire onboarding flow into a guaranteed readiness gate.

Analysis carried into a rewrite

My shell-injection proposal #171 was closed unmerged. The maintainer’s TypeScript rewrite #1886 explicitly credits the original analysis and credential-handling improvement. That rewrite is the maintainer’s implementation; legacy shell paths still remained.

ClawMetry

Merged & co-credited contributions

Reported and proposed fixes for login-token XSS and cron-log path traversal, later reapplied by the maintainer with co-author attribution. Also landed foreground sync.

Details & sources for ClawMetry

Security patches after route changes

My original security PRs were closed after routes moved. The maintainer reapplied both fixes in #1072 and #1074 with explicit co-author credit. The work covers those specific routes; it is not a full authentication or filesystem-isolation audit.

Foreground sync

Implemented the missing daemon entrypoint so foreground sync no longer failed with an ImportError. The loop logs sync exceptions and retries; no uptime or lossless-sync metric is claimed.

SafeCLI

Private implementation

Rushaan set the overall direction; I implemented package-security APIs and analysis workers, including recursive scanning, cached results, incremental scans and audit trails.

Details & sources for SafeCLI

How the collaboration started

Rushaan reached out after my autoresearch contribution. That small open-source change led to a larger collaboration on package-security tooling.

What the public link shows

The scanner implementation is separate from Release Radar. The public companion below discovers new package releases to scan; it is not the scanner source.

Agents & evals / Security2026

Release Radar

Public project

A discovery companion for SafeCLI. It watches npm and PyPI releases, resolves exact versions and selects candidates for the separate scanner.

Details & sources for Release Radar

The boundary

Radar discovers releases and calls SafeCLI externally. It does not replace the scanner or establish that a package is safe.

Inspectable workflow

The public repository documents release deduplication, risk and blast-radius signals, and a durable JSONL event stream. These are implementation features, not measured detection-rate claims.

Polymath

Private contract work

Built 15 RL environments in under two months after a take-home introduced me to the work. Contract scope included cybersecurity and distributed systems; task details remain private.

Details & sources for Polymath

The work

The environment itself became a central part of how I think about agents. The résumé records the contract and the scope of the work.

Private details

Environment implementations and task specifics are private. No confidential task examples or internal materials are shared here.

SystemsApr 2026–present

Android graphics tooling

Private contract work

Learned Vulkan and built Android code to control variable-rate shading and frame rate in games for Displays and Graphics Ltd.

Details & sources for Android graphics tooling

How I approached it

I started with little graphics experience. The SafeCLI collaboration led to this work, where I learned Vulkan for the project.

Testing

I wrote repeatable test scripts and used AGI and Perfetto traces to compare rendering modes, verify 30/60 FPS pacing and measure GPU workload. No general GPU speedup is claimed here.

Automation2025–present

Independent automation

Private client work

Delivered subcontracted automation for onboarding and invoicing, including turning Google Sheets data into Xero invoices.

Details & sources for Independent automation

Reported outcomes

My résumé reports 93% less manual onboarding work in one engagement and the removal of a recurring two-hour billing task in another. Those are engagement-specific reported outcomes, not a general automation benchmark.

Scope

The work connected business workflows and existing tools. Client systems and implementation details are private.

AutomationMar–Sep 2025

Celer AI

Past founder project

Founded Celer AI and built a voice-to-text workflow for clinicians using Next.js and Supabase. This led me into independent automation work.

Details & sources for Celer AI

The workflow

The goal was to make medical-report generation faster for the people doing it. My résumé reports a workflow-time change from 15 minutes to 40 seconds; that is a project-reported outcome, not a new independent benchmark.

The next step

Building Celer AI was where I realized I wanted to help other people with technical work. I moved into independent automation and then into the tools and environments around agents.
